\nMany independent contractors believe that that they have coverage for liability and legal aid because they have liability insurance and legal aid insurance for their family. Unfortunately, private insurance does not provide any coverage for damage caused by any business-related activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nMany independent contractors start their business and consider insuring themselves as an afterthought. It\u2019s only logical; you need to mind costs when starting out. Many times, insurance is forgotten about, and that can lead to nasty consequences.<\/span><\/p>\n

The price isn\u2019t everything, coverage is important too<\/strong><\/span>
\nWhen taking out an insurance, much ado is made about the price instead of the exact coverage. A cheaper insurance policy may seem suitable until a damage claim is excluded from coverage.
